Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College & Hospital has become a leading institution for medical education, training, and research at the national level, providing essential healthcare services to underserved populations. In response to a critical shortage of medical facilities, the Foundation established the college at Vilad Ghat, Ahmednagar, in 2004. Guided by the visionary leadership of its founder, the late Dr. Balasaheb Vikhe Patil (Padmabhushan Awardee), the institute has achieved significant accomplishments in both academics and grassroots healthcare. The college offers an undergraduate course in Medicine (MBBS) with an annual intake of 200 students, as well as postgraduate courses in 10 disciplines.
