Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj (IAST: Kṛpālu; October 5, 1922 – November 15, 2013) was a revered Indian spiritual leader and the fifth Jagadguru. He was the esteemed founder of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat (JKP), a global Hindu nonprofit organization with five primary ashrams, four situated in India and one in the United States.
On Makar Sankranti, January 14, 1957, he was bestowed with the esteemed title of Jagadguru (world teacher) by the Kashi Vidvat Parishat, thereby becoming the fifth original Jagadguru in Indian history.
